A new Zaxby's location is under construction in Chamblee, the restaurant chain announced Monday.
The restaurant, known for chicken fingers and buffalo wings, will open "later this winter" at 4906 Peachtree Blvd., in front of Lowe’s, said company spokesperson Alexa Orndoff in a press release.
The restaurant will create an additional 50 to 60 jobs, according to a press release. Those interested in employment should email saqinc@att.net to apply.
The Chamblee location will be the Athens-based chain's seventh in DeKalb and 197th in Georgia. Zaxby's currently operates more than 535 locations in 12 states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
