The Georgia Department of Driver Services has opened its new Fayette County office at 749 W. Lanier Avenue, Suite 102, on the north side of Ga. Hwy. 54 between Gingercake Road and Grady Avenue.

The former site at the corner of McDonough Road and McElroy Road has been closed. The new larger and more computerized office is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday. Forms, information and some related services for obtaining or renewing a driver’s license are available at www.dds.ga.gov.
