The new city of Stonecrest is set up in its first City Hall.

Mayor Jason Lary and some of his staff moved in last week to the building, located at 3120 Stonecrest Blvd., Suite 100.

The 3,100 square-foot space is temporary and across the hall from City Hall’s permanent home.

The permanent City Hall will be a 13,000-square foot office space with accommodations for current and future needs, including space for weekly council meetings and work sessions, the city said.

As of Monday, Stonecrest is offering services at the temporary City Hall, including business license applications and renewals and alcohol permits.

“It’s been four years coming and now we are glad to have a long-term, solid home,” Lary said.

City Hall’s hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 pm. The phone number is 770-224-0200.
