The city of Tucker plans to give out 1,500 medical-grade face masks to residents at three locations this week.

The distributions will happen Wednesday through Friday. The city said in statement that 500 will be dolled out at each location, and residents will be limited to a maximum of four masks unless they have more than four people with them.

Here are the details on the giveaways:

  • Wednesday, May 20, 3 to 6 p.m.: Tucker Recreation Center, 4898 Lavista Road
  • Thursday, May 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Rehoboth Baptist Church, 2997 Lawrenceville Highway
  • Friday, May 22, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: NETWorks Cooperative Ministry, 2380 Fourth St.

The city previously bought 6,400 masks and has already given out 3,500 to senior and long-term care facilities and local businesses.
