To the joy of Chicago-style pizza lovers, a stuffed deep dish restaurant from a national chain recently opened in Buckhead.

Nancy's Chicago Pizza is serving pies, pastas and sandwiches at 2625 Piedmont Road NE, bringing the restaurant back to the community after one on Peachtree Road closed a few years ago. Two pizza buffs once said that late location had some of the best pizza in the entire metro area.

Outside of Buckhead, Nancy's can be found in East Point, Midtown and Johns Creek. Beyond Georgia, the chain — established in 1971 — has locations in Illinois and one in California and Missouri.

Yves and Cheryl Dominique own the Buckhead location.
