The mother of a 3-year-old girl was in court today charged in connection with her daughter’s temporary disappearance.

A Levi's Call was issued for Azaria Grace Iwangou early Saturday after Atlanta police said she disappeared with her mother's acquaintance around 12:30 a.m. when all three were out for a walk. Azaria was found Saturday night in good health, police said.

The girl’s mother, Jo Flowers, and acquaintance Kenneth Beasley were charged with misdemeanors in the case and made their first court appearances at the Fulton County Jail this morning, authorities said.

Flowers is charged with reckless conduct and was granted a $5,000 bond, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan said. She also must follow a plan from the Department of Family and Children Services, she said.

Beasley was granted a $3,000 bond on an interference with custody charge, Flanagan said.
