Gwinnett County is replacing a culvert pipe at Pew Creek on Johnson Road in Lawrenceville resulting in the need to re-route the high pressure gas main.

The Lawrenceville City Council approved $73,346 recently to go to low bidder, Harrison and Harrison Inc. for the installation of approximately 435 feet of six-inch steel pipe by directional bore under existing six-inch pipe that will be abandoned.

In a separate contract, the city approved $15,686 for the purchase of steel gas pipe and fittings from the low bidder Consolidated Pipe and Supply.
