Gwinnett County Police are looking for men who posed as FBI agents and invaded a woman’s home.

The incident occurred in the 1600 block of Broomfield Way in Lawrenceville.

A woman at the home told police four to six males wearing black FBI T-shirts entered her home through the garage door and scattered throughout her house. She was reportedly struck in the back with a pistol, ordered to lie down on the ground and repeatedly asked for money by two of the men.

She then told the men they had the wrong house as they zip-tied her arms behind her back, police said.

The victim’s son, who was in the basement, heard his mom scream, went upstairs to check on her and saw two of the men as he opened the door. He ran to a neighbor’s home to call police.

The men escaped in a maroon Infinity I-30, which was later found abandoned near the home with a pistol and FBI shirt in plain view inside. Police also found a second pistol, flashlight and another FBI shirt near the car.

Only the victim advised seeing more than two males. The other witnesses reported seeing only two males.
