A private memorial service to honor Christian evangelist, author and apologist Ravi Zacharias will be livestreamed at 11 a.m. May 29.

Zacharias died May 19 at age 74 after a brief battle with cancer.

Viewers could watch at RZIM.org/RaviMemorial.  The service ended shortly after 1 p.m. Friday.

Zacharias, founder of Ravi Zacharias Ministries (RZIM), spent nearly five decades traveling the world defending Christianity and addressing issues of origin, meaning, morality and destiny.

Vice President Mike Pence, a longtime friend of the religious leader, is scheduled to attend the memorial service on Friday and offer comments.

The service will be at Passion City Church, 515 Garson Dr. N.E.

Those paying tribute include RZIM President Michael Ramsden; athlete and author Tim Tebow;  Brooklyn Tabernacle Senior Pastor Jim Cymbala; and Passion Movement Founder Louie Giglio. Musical artists Matt Redman and Lecrae will perform.
