Four masked men broke into The Varsity’s Norcross location and tried to steal an ATM machine, Gwinnett County police said.

The men pulled up to the store on Dawson Boulevard in a black pickup truck around 3 a.m., according to police. They broke the front glass door in order to enter the restaurant, surveillance footage shows.

The men spent “a few minutes” trying to pry open and remove the ATM machine, but were unsuccessful. The men then fled. The entire incident was caught on high quality surveillance video, but all four men wore “full masks,” obscuring any facial features.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
