Marietta teacher wins state restaurant educator award

Marietta High School culinary arts teacher, Chef Ginger Pratt, was named the 2012 recipient of the Georgia Restaurant Educator Excellence Award.

Pratt will receive the award at the National Restaurant Association convention later this year. Pratt and the MHS ProStart culinary team of five students placed fourth out of 14 other high school at the annual Georgia ProStart Competition at Kennesaw State University last month.
