The Marietta Museum of History will kick off the fall festival season with two days of live music, arts and crafts and classic cars.
The 28th annual Marietta StreetFest will be held 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 at Glover Park on Marietta Square.
The event, which is free, was established in 1991 as a fundraiser for the museum. It expanded to a two-day event in 2017. It attracts more than 25,000 people to the square each year, organizers said. Key components for the festival are:
Artist Alley and Jewelry Row: work from more than 75 local and national vendors will be on hand. These artists will offer hand-crafted paintings, jewelry, pottery, jellies, jams and sauces.
Kids Korner and Tiny Tot Town: a section where youngsters can enjoy inflatables, crafts, games and kind-friendly entertainment shows.

The 15th annual Hubcaps and History Classic Car Show: weather permitting, this display of classic cars will be held only on Saturday. Multiple awards will be given and the winners will be announced at 3 p.m.
Marietta Grassroots Music Festival: featuring performances from local bands and singer/songwriters representing a variety of genres. Learn more about the lineup by visiting the festival's website.

On-street parking is available around the square. Additional parking is available at the Marietta City Hall parking deck at 205 Lawrence Street and the county parking decks on Waddell and Lawrence streets. Visit the Marietta StreetFest website for more information.
