Marietta Fourth of July Parade

July 4, 2018 Cobb County: JaNoah Master-7 a Cub Scout with pack 473 helps hold up the flag. The Marietta Freedom Parade began at 10 a.m. on Wednesday July 4, 2018 and included 110 entries, 2,000 participants†and†an estimated 30,000 spectators. The parade began at Roswell Street Baptist Church and and ended at North Marietta Parkway. Parade entries included marching units from the city of Marietta, civic organizations, beauty queens, scouts and local businesses. At the end of the parade the start of the Festival began. The city of Marietta's Fourth in the Park celebration included a parade, free live concerts, museum tours, arts†and†crafts show, food, carnival games and†a fireworks†finale.†JOHN SPINK/JSPINK@AJC.COM
