The Marietta Freedom Parade began at 10 a.m. on Wednesday July 4, 2018 and included 110 entries, 2,000 participantsâ andâ an estimated 30,000 spectators. The parade began at Roswell Street Baptist Church and and ended at North Marietta Parkway. Parade entries included marching units from the city of Marietta, civic organizations, beauty queens, scouts and local businesses. At the end of the parade the start of the Festival began.
