A 28-year-old Cherokee County man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenager taking a shower at a gym.
The incident apparently happened Monday at Life Time Fitness on Highway 92 in Woodstock, according to police.
A 13-year-old boy was in the shower when a man entered the stall and assaulted him, Woodstock police said. The man was later identified as Christopher James III of Woodstock.
James, a gym member, was arrested Tuesday, police said. He has been charged him with aggravated child molestation, child molestation, and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
James remained in the Cherokee County jail Thursday night without bond, said Lt. Jay Baker with the sheriff's office.
Woodstock detectives say it is possible there are other victims. Anyone who believes their child may have been assaulted at the fitness center is encouraged to contact Woodstock police at 770-592-6030.
