The weather hasn’t dipped below 80 degrees in months, but that won’t stop the Mall of Georgia from bringing out some ice.

The Mall of Georgia's new ice skating rink will open Friday, Oct. 5. The mall will kick off the ice skating season with a 90s-themed party in the Village, its outdoor event space that's playing host to the rink this fall and winter. There will be a DJ, photo booth, games and family activities, in addition to the main draw: ice.
