Mableton, Vinings may be subject to design guidelines
The Cobb County Board of Commissioners agreed 5-0 Tuesday to find a consultant to propose design guidelines for Mableton and Vinings.
Four areas will be Mableton Parkway, Veterans Memorial Highway, Austell Road and downtown Vinings.
The anticipated cost for the consultant is $150,000.
Over the past decade, four studies all have advised the establishment of design guidelines for these areas.
Those studies have been the Austell and Veterans Memorial Highway Livable Centers Initiatives, Vinings Vision and River Line Master Plan.
