Do you want up to $100 to spend at a brand new Snellville grocery store? Wake up bright and early to line up at Lidl.

The German-owned grocery store will open its first Gwinnett County location Wednesday morning. The first 100 shoppers at the Stone Mountain Highway store will get a free gift card valued between $5 and $100.

The market opens at 8 a.m., with a ribbon cutting occurring around 7:40 p.m., a spokesperson said. If you miss your chance for a free gift card, you can still enjoy free samples and get a free reusable shopping bag all day (well, as long as supplies last).

Lidl is known for having a large selection of private label products and low prices, as well as award-winning beer and wine that is exclusive to its stores. Lidl also offers a range of organic and gluten-free products.

The Snellville store’s normal hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. It is located at 3821 Stone Mountain Highway.
