Lawrenceville Mayor Judy Jordan Johnson will deliver the city’s annual State of the City Address during the upcoming city council meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 5 at City Hall, 70 S. Clayton St. The state of the city address will include a snapshot of 2017 successes while outlining the vision and roadmap for Lawrenceville’s future in 2018.

“This annual address offers citizens the opportunity to listen and understand how their investment in our community is working for them and where the community, collectively, is headed in the coming year,” said the mayor. “The city looks forward to sharing what we have accomplished, what our partners are accomplishing within our town, and how we are working together to implement the people’s vision to keep moving Lawrenceville forward.”

During the state of the city address, residents and visitors should expect to hear updates on the city’s LCI (Livable Communities Initiative) two-way conversion project as well as what will come in 2018 with regard to the College Corridor, the cultural arts facility, and the partnership with the Hooper-Renwick Legacy Preservation Committee.
