With Labor Day approaching, north Fulton County residents should prepare for adjustments to their regular trash and recycling collections.

Below is a roundup of each city's Labor Day schedules for residential/commercial, yard waste, recycling collections:

CITY OF ROSWELL

  • Yard waste collection (which includes weeds, grass and hedge trimmings, leaves, brush, tree limbs) will continue as usual for Monday customers.
  • Household garbage collection and curbside recycling will resume on Sept. 6.
  • The Roswell Recycling Center is closed on Labor Day.

CITY OF ALPHARETTA

  • Regular trash, yard waste, and recycling collection will continue on Labor Day.

CITY OF SANDY SPRINGS

  • Sandy Springs city government does not provide regular pickups for trash, yard waste, or recycling.
  • Residents should consult with their specific waste collection provider(s) for exact pickup times and schedules.
  • The Sandy Springs Recycling Center is closed on Labor Day.

CITY OF JOHNS CREEK

  • Johns Creek city government does not provide regular pickups for trash, yard waste, or recycling.
  • Johns Creek residents should consult with their specific waste collection provider(s) for exact pickup times and schedules.
  • The Sandy Springs Recycling Center is closed on Labor Day for Johns Creek residents who regularly use the facility.

CITY OF MILTON

  • Milton city government does not provide regular pickups for trash, yard waste, or recycling.
  • Milton residents should consult with their specific waste collection provider(s) for exact pickup times and schedules.
  • The Roswell Recycling Center is closed on Labor Day for Milton residents who use regularly use the facility.
