People are giving a hoot about Kennesaw State University's Executive MBA program.

CEO Magazine ranked it the best such program in Georgia and the seventh best in the world, according to a KSU news release.

The executive MBA program is for those working full-time who still want to earn a master’s of business administration degree.

Kennesaw State's program was also named top in the state last year but has moved up two spots internationally. This is the fourth year the KSU Coles College of Business' EMBA was recognized by the magazine.

The EMBA program at Coles enrolls 45 working professionals annually in its 19-month program.

“Being ranked among the best in the world reflects years of hard work by our faculty, staff, students and leadership team,” said Kathy Schwaig, dean of Coles.

According to KSU, programs are broken into tiers and judged on things like quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, work experience, international exposure, professional development, gender parity and delivery methods.

At No. 6 was Temple University.

Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business came in at No. 12 worldwide. Last year it tied for No. 22 with Mercer University-Atlanta's Stetson School of Business and Economics, which came in at 45th this year.

Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business came in at 66th, down from 37th the year before.
