Hourly rates have been changed for Croy Engineering by the Kennesaw City Council in a 4-1 vote Tuesday.

In support were Councilmembers Yvette M.A. Daniel, Jimmy Dickens, James “Doc” Eaton and Nimesh Patel.

Opposed was Councilmember Jim Sebastian.

The fee change includes rates for the newly created positions of program manager and program coordinator to reduce the number of hours charged to the higher-rated senior professional position.

Those hourly rates are $170 for the senior professional, $150 for the program manager and $140 for the program coordinator.

Other hourly rates charged to the city by the Marietta-based Croy Engineering for 17 positions range from $50 for administration to $165 for a three-man survey crew.
