The East Point City council recently approved changing the multi-family, commercial and industrial sewer tap connection fees from $22 per gallon to a flat rate of $2,400.

The city council also approved at its December meeting an ordinance amending its fiscal year 2016 budget in the amount of $135,480,324. It also passed an ordinance restructuring city departments and management oversight.
