A health care company’s move of its Atlanta hub to Roswell will bring more than 500 jobs to the North Fulton city, local economic development officials announced.
McKesson Corp., a health care supply chain, retail pharmacy and information technology concern, will relocate from Alpharetta in the summer of 2019, according to Roswell Inc officials. The company signed a 10-year lease for 104,000 square feet in the Stonebridge I building at Sanctuary Park, 1110 Sanctuary Parkway.
Officials cited location, availability of space and quality of life as among the reasons McKesson chose Roswell. Also, its new offices are in Roswell’s Opportunity Zone, with a state incentive program available that provides tax credits for net new jobs created.
“Adding this caliber of corporate citizen to our city, along with this many high-quality jobs, is incredibly significant for the economic health and prosperity of our community,” said Steve Stroud, executive director of Roswell Inc.
