A Lawrenceville wing shop failed its recent health inspection, county records show.

Wings and Philly, located on S. Clayton Street, was cited for multiple health violations in the inspection report Monday and earned a score of 55/U.

There were multiple violations in the restaurant’s procedures for storing raw meat. Raw chicken was stored above and on the same shelf as raw seafood, the report said. A “10 lb frozen ground meat chub” was stored over raw pork and raw gyro meat, according to the report.

There was also “mold-like debris” found in the restaurant’s ice machine and tea urn. The store’s owner was seen cutting vegetables with one bare hand and one gloved hand, the report said.
