Commuter express bus service from Gwinnett County to Atlanta will begin Monday, after being halted in April in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Gwinnett transit service will operate in a reduced schedule. The number of riders will be limited to 14, and all riders are encouraged to wear face masks.

The five routes the county will operate are Route 101, 102, 103 and 103A. Route 110, which serves Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, continued to operate when the other routes were suspended. They will all run Monday through Friday during peak times.

“Many Gwinnett residents rely on our transit system to commute to their jobs, and with businesses reopening, we want to re-establish a limited level of commuter service to Atlanta,” Gwinnett County Transportation director Alan Chapman said in a statement.
