The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office took to Facebook on Tuesday with a very important message.

"If you come to visit your significant other at the Gwinnett County Jail," the department wrote, "please do not expose yourself during visitation. Private parts are called 'private parts' for a reason and they should stay that way when you're in public places."
The post, inspired by a recent incident, continued.
"Also, if you're caught exposing yourself during visitation," it said, "don't get belligerent and combative with our deputies when your visitation is terminated due to your poor choices. That'll just result in you getting booked in on a disorderly conduct charge, which could have easily been prevented by simply zipping up your pants and your mouth before heading home."

Sheriff's office spokeswoman Deputy Shannon Volkodav confirmed that the incident was observed by a deputy in the housing unit. The inmate and visitor in question were seated on top of desks, and the visitor "adjusted clothing" when the deputy realized what was going on.
