Local fast casual chain Gusto is preparing to open its fifth location in metro Atlanta this fall, featuring the company’s first drive-thru option.

The new location on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Chamblee is set to open in late September, the company announced Thursday.

Gusto is known for its customizable salad or rice bowls usually featuring a protein, flavorful sauce and other toppings. The menu at the new outpost will be the same as the other locations’.

In addition to the new drive-thru design, the Chamblee location will boast a “bright, modern industrial design along with architectural elements that reflect historical Chamblee,” Gusto said in a statement. The front of the restaurant will include an 18-foot-tall glass wall.

“With our new Chamblee shop, we’re introducing an innovative value proposition for flavorful, high quality food served quickly,” Gusto founder Nate Hybl said in the statement.

Gusto is based in Atlanta and has four other locations in the metro area, including in Midtown and North Decatur.

Chamblee native Bobby Bryde will operate the new Gusto and said the opening accompanies a “growth surge” in the area.

“I was born in and feel very connected to the Chamblee community,” he said in a statement. “I look forward to providing a new level of convenience to the young professionals and families in the area.”

It will be located at 4945 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard near the Peachtree Station shopping center, which includes a Whole Foods, Chipotle, Starbucks, Zoës Kitchen and other shops and restaurants.
