DeKalb County recently approved spending nearly $300,000 in federal grant money on several criminal justice programs.

The county’s district attorney, solicitor, police department, sheriff’s office and marshal’s office will each receive about $33,3000 for programs under the Justice Assistance Grant.

The county school system and its drug and juvenile courts will also receive a share of the money.
