The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office will hold the third annual Bicycle Safety Rodeo this weekend.

Children will be taught best practices through instructional classes, which will be followed by a bicycle parade. Free helmets will be given to all participants, and bikes can be won through prize drawings.

The event takes place Saturday in the Juvenile Courthouse parking lot at 395 Pryor St. in downtown Atlanta. Activities and registration will start at 10 a.m.

Parents of those aged six to 14 may pre-register by calling call 404-612-6624 or by completing the registration form at www.fultonsheriff.net.

Free food will be available for all attendees, according to a press release. Parents must stay on site with their children for the duration of the event.

• Bike and helmet fitting

• Starts and stops

• Scanning/hand signals

• “Demon Driveway”

• “Crazy Crossroads”

• “Rock Dodge/ Pothole Pitfall”
