Fulton County residents can dispose of up to 12 tires per household next month as part of an effort to encourage recycling.

The county will set up seven collection sites, where residents can drop off vehicle tires without a fee between July 1 and July 31. Commercial and farm equipment tires and tires with rims will not be accepted.

Container locations in North Fulton are the Roswell Recycling Center on Maxwell Road in Roswell and the Morgan Falls Recycling Center in Sandy Springs.

Locations in Central Fulton are at the city of Atlanta on Proctor Street and the Adamsville Health Center on Bakers Ferry Road in Atlanta.

South Fulton locations are at the city of Chattahoochee Hills on Rico Road, the Merck Solid Waste Transfer Center on Merck Road in College Park and the city of Palmetto on Main Street.
