The Georgia Supreme Court on Monday unanimously reinstated murder convictions against two men for the killings of Jeremiah Ingram and Fatima Fisher.

The court ruled that former Superior Court Judge Marvin Arrington erred when granting new trials for Christopher James and Herman Lawson. They are serving life sentences for the murders of Fisher and her boyfriend, Ingram, who both were shot in the head after leaving the Claremont Lounge in Atlanta in the predawn hours of Aug. 20, 2005.
