Fulton County schools to dismiss early Friday

Fulton County Schools announced on their Facebook page late Thursday all schools will dismiss students two hours early on Friday.
Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:20 p.m., high schools will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. and middle schools will dismiss at 2:05 p.m.

In addition, after-school activities, including athletic events, are canceled Friday. Any events before 1 p.m. Saturday, including the FCS Science Fair and SAT exams, are also canceled.
The decision comes following a state of emergency issued by Gov. Nathan Deal to close state offices early tomorrow due to inclement weather conditions.
