The Fulton County Board of Health has officially launched its new website which can be accessed at www.fultoncountyboh.org, according to a press release. The website marks a key communications accomplishment for the agency as a result of its transition from the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness to the Fulton County Board of Health in July 2017.

“The new website is clear, concise, and easy to use,” explains FCBOH District Health Director Kathleen E. Toomey, M.D., M.PH. Clients, Fulton County residents, community partners and healthcare professionals can now access the latest information on the Fulton County Board of Health’s services including:

• Clinic locations (8)

• Clinical services

• Teen Clinic services

• Family planning services

• HIV, STD and TB testing and prevention

• HIV Primary Care and the PrEP Clinic

• Oral Health services for children

• Maternal and Child Health services

• Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program

• Environmental Health Services for pool and restaurants permits and restaurant scores

• Office of Vital Records for birth and death certificates

• Epidemiology for healthcare professionals to access infectious disease reporting and surveillance data

“Launching a new website is a major undertaking. We want our clients and all Fulton County residents to have the latest information about our public health locations, resources and services,” Toomey adds.

As the largest health district in Georgia, the FCBOH is now in alignment with the other 17 Health Districts of the Georgia Department of Public Health. The Fulton County Board of Health has eight health centers located from north to south in Fulton County and an Office of Vital Records located at the Fulton County Government Center.
