Fulton County has opened two voting locations to the last week of early voting ahead of Election Day on June 9.

Because of COVID-19 and a mix of state and county decisions, Fulton has had a challenging presidential primary election that has seen long socially distanced lines that resulted in waits of up to  four hours, a backlog of absentee ballot applications (then some were missed) and an elections employee (62-year-old grandmother Beverly Walker) dying from the coronavirus disease.

The county extended both the opening and closing hours of polls, and has added COVID-19 testing to multiple locations.
