Fry’s Electronics quietly closed its Duluth location over the holidays.

The Fry's location opened in 2004. The store did not publicly announce its closing in advance or hold a going out of business sale. Fry's is the latest on a long list of closed businesses in the area. The Gwinnett Place Mall sits half empty and a Dave and Buster's closed in the area in March 2019. While department store Macy's will close its South DeKalb Mall location, there is no indication the location at the Gwinnett Place Mall will shutter in the near future.

For those with electronic shopping needs, a Best Buy location remains open on Pleasant Hill Drive.
