Once a month, beginning in June, the city of Roswell will offer something every kid — and maybe every adult — will want to get in on.

It’s the city’s Slip-n-Slide Extravaganza.

The city’s recreation and parks department will roll out three different slides, ranging from 50 to 150 feet. All you have do is bring a towel and an inner tube, if you’re into that.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who can sign a waiver for them. Free parking is available onsite.

Here’s when and where the slides will be:

• June 2, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Leita Thompson Park

• July 8, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Garrard Landing Park

• Aug. 4, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Leita Thompson Park

Food vendors will also be there, but will be announced at a later date.

The events are free, but donations to Roswell’s Adaptive Center for Kids with Disabilities will be accepted.
