Four Gwinnett County families were displaced Sunday by a late night fire near Buford.

The 11:30 p.m. blaze damaged all four units of a two-story quadruplex  in the 4600 block of Lois Drive, Gwinnett fire Lt. Eric Eberly said.

Eberly said the fire displaced 14 adults and nine children. He said that while there were no injuries in the blaze, an adult and a child "had to be transported for evaluation from complaints stemming from the event."

The cause of the fire has not been determined. The American Red Cross responded to the scene to assist the displaced families.
