For the fourth consecutive year, Forsyth County School District students had the highest ACT score among county and large school districts in Georgia, with a composite score of 24.5, district officials announced.
Four Forsyth high schools – Lambert, South Forest, West Forest and Forsyth Central – had among the top 35 highest scores out of 434 high schools in Georgia, and all five high schools in the district exceeded state and national composites, officials said.

Among the metro area average composite scores: Forsyth, 24.5; Fulton, 23.7; Fayette, 23.4; Cherokee, 23.0; Cobb, 22.8; Gwinnett, 22.6; DeKalb, 19.7; Atlanta, 18.7; and Clayton, 17.9.
