A man and woman from Austell were taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after an armed robbery of the PNC Bank at 100 Beckett Lane in Fayetteville.
Police said William Bradford, 38, entered the bank at about 2:30 p.m. wearing a ski mask and allegedly demanded money from a teller at gunpoint. He then left the bank and got into a car driven by Kylana Threat, 20. Witnesses provided a tag number, after which officers from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office found the vehicle in the Brandon Mill subdivision a mile from the bank.
Both suspects are charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and related offenses.
