Fayette County’s Recreation Commission has an open position for an unexpired term that begins immediately and ends March 31, 2020.

The five-member volunteer board meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in Fayetteville to review and evaluate programs, facilities, policies and related matters. The board does not have any decision-making authority over how county resources are spent, but advises the Recreation Department, county administrator and the Board of Commissioners regarding capital and operational needs.

Applications, available at www.fayettecountyga.gov or from Tameca White at twhite@fayettecountyga.gov or 770-305-5103, are due Feb. 17.
