It’s October, which means everything pumpkin is upon us.

Pumpkin lattes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin pictures, pumpkin pizza. Some might argue that October is filled with too much of the orange squash-like plant.

But if pumpkins are your thing, there’s a place in Roswell where you can get your pumpkin fix and pick your own. The annual pumpkin patch at the Bridge to Grace Covenant Church is now open.

Hours for the church’s pumpkin patch are noon to 7 p.m. Sundays through Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays. The patch will be open through Halloween.

The patch will feature a children’s maze and pumpkins for sale. So, whether you’re looking for a pumpkin to carve or just something for the kids to do, this is the place.

And on Saturday, Oct. 13, the church will host a fall festival at the patch, featuring face painting, a bake sale, offerings from local artists, raffles and other activities. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The pumpkin patch is located at 2385 Holcomb Bridge Road. For more information, send an email to vherod@gmail.com or visit the church's Facebook page.
