The Fairburn library, which has been closed for nearly a year, is set to reopen this week.

The library will open Thursday at 10 a.m. It has been closed since last June.

As part of the opening, there will be tours of the renovated space and light refreshments. The county is in the midst of a project to renovate and modernize its libraries.

Parking at the Fairburn library is limited, but additional parking will be available Thursday at the United Community Bank next door to the Fairburn Library at 65 Washington Street.
