The Duluth Police Department recently received a donation of $6,167 from the Duluth Fall Festival Committee for the installation for a camera at the Festival Center building. The donation was based on a quote from Federal Signal for the camera installation.

The camera will be part of the city’s overall canopy camera system and monitored by the police department. Duluth police currently monitor more than 60 cameras located around the city in various locations ranging from city parks to business and shopping center parking lots.

The Duluth Festival Center is located downtown and is a multi-purpose venue designed for large attendance events using both indoor and outdoor spaces.
