A Gainesville teenager was killed and three other people were injured in a crash with a man who was believed to be DUI, the Gainesville Times reported.

About 9:25 p.m. Tuesday, Jonathan Flanagan, 22, of Dahlonega, was traveling north on Ga. 60 near Price Road when he crossed the center line and struck a car carrying three people, the Georgia State Patrol told the paper.

Jesus Alvarez-Perez, 19, died Wednesday from injuries, the paper reported. Elizabeth Alvarez-Perez, 44, the driver of the other car, was in critical condition at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Two other people in the car, ages 16 and 14, also are in the hospital.

Flanagan was driving too fast for conditions, Cpl. Jonathan Munger said. He could not say more about Flanagan’s alleged impairment until a chemical test is performed.
