Douglas County schools invites community members to be ‘Teacher 4 A Day’
Parents, business leaders and community members are invited to become a ‘Teacher 4 A Day’ in Douglas County. CONTRIBUTED
The Douglas County Chamber and the Douglas County School System invite business leaders, parents and community leaders to spend a day in the life of a Douglas County teacher at this year’s Teacher 4 A Day. Volunteers will spend half a day shadowing a teacher and celebrating the tremendous work educators do every day to make an impact on Douglas County students.
This volunteer opportunity puts the spotlight on schools and educators, highlighting the accomplishments and achievements of Douglas County Schools. Teacher 4 A Day 2018 is March 27. The deadline to apply is March 13.
