When a restaurant closes, it's not unusual for another one to open in its place.

It's a little more unusual, though, for a primary care clinic to open in its place.

Which is why it's an interesting move that Sean “Diddy” Combs' former Buckhead restaurant will soon be occupied by Emory Healthcare.

Combs – who was just seen drinking tequila after yanking out his IV on Ellen – closed Justin's Restaurant years ago, and the property has been uninhabited since.

Emory at Peachtree Hills is expected to open at 2200 Peachtree Road in early 2017.

“The location will enable current Emory Healthcare patients and others who live in and around this area to receive Emory’s primary care services closer to home,” a spokesperson said in an email.

The newest Emory Healthcare Network addition will include 10 exam rooms and a lab, while the addition of X-ray and “other Emory specialty practices” are expected in the future.

Emory Healthcare offers primary care services at more than 25 locations in the Atlanta area and throughout northwest Georgia, according to its website.

The lease agreement was announced in a June press release.

"We believe Emory is the perfect tenant for this location and we are very pleased we were able to come to an agreement with Emory Healthcare for their new facility," Coro Realty's vice president Patti Pearlberg said in the release.
