Peruvians in Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi are also allowed to vote at the precinct, located on 2235 Briarwood Way NE.
The location was chosen based on its capacity and location, Miguel Aleman, Consulate General of Peru in Atlanta, said in the release. The center is located near I-85 and Buford Highway.
City spokesman Burke Brennan said this is the first time the city has hosted another country’s election.
Other states, such as North and South Carolina, are also hosting elections for Peru.
Polls will open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
