President Barack Obama has nominated DeKalb State Court Judge Eleanor Ross for a seat on the U.S. District Court’s Northern District of Georgia.

Ross, a former U.S. assistant attorney in the district, is among four judges named to fill vacancies on the federal bench. Ross is also a former prosecutor in DeKalb and Fulton counties, must be confirmed by the U.S. Senate to be seated.
