DeKalb County is capping off another season of its mobile farmers market with a fall festival this weekend.

On Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the "harvest festival" will offer kids' games and activities, giveaways, discounted produce and more. The festivities will celebrate Fresh on DeK, the county's program that sells fresh food and vegetables from a mobile truck.

The truck has made stops at various locations across DeKalb since early June.

The festival will take place at the DeKalb County Extension Office, located at 4380 Memorial Drive in the Decatur area.

“This culminating event is held to express gratitude to the community which has helped the Extension Office to relieve food access barriers by providing fresh produce paired with nutrition education programming around county,” organizers said in a statement.
