DeKalb County to participate in ‘Imagine a Day Without Water’

DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management will join elected officials, water utilities, community leaders, educators and businesses to participate in the fourth annual Imagine a Day Without Water, according to a press release. The nationwide event was established by the Value of Water Campaign to educate communities about the value of water.

DWM will host a “Imagine a Day Without Water” Community Open House 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 at the at Scott Candler Water Treatment Plant, 4830 Winters Chapel Road, Atlanta. Attendees must register in advance by contacting Brenda Winston at bwinston@dekalbcountyga.gov or 770-414-6213.

DeKalb County is responsible for providing high quality drinking water to more than 700,000 residents.
